Audit your PC with Belarc Advisor

From time to time you need to run security checks and other maintenance on your PC to ensure optimal performance and overall security of your pc or network. You need to make sure there are no vulnerabilities and pc is completely patched. A full PC audit allows you to view the current state of your PC and will also tell you what actions you need to take. It may also very well reveal information that you weren’t possibly aware of.

There are many audit tools out there that you can use. I personally use Belarc Advisor to run audit on my PCs. It’s a free tool that creates an in-depth profile of your installed hardware and software, missing hot fixes, anti-virus status and lot more. All the information is presented in your browser so that you can see everything at a glance. I have listed some good reasons below as to why I prefer Belarc to other tools.

•    Its spyware/malware  free.
•    Belarc Advisor is completely free for personal use.
•    Belarc has a very reputable client base.
•    All the audit information is kept on your pc and is not transmitted to any server.
•    Audit report is very detailed.
•    Discovers any network present and also gives in-depth network information.
•    Very easy to use.
